We have been learning about the 4Rs- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink. In collaborative groups, we explored how our school consumes resources such as waste, water, energy and food. Then we brainstormed ways to reduce our consumption of these valuable resources.
Our next task was to independently create a brochure using Microsoft Word. The Assessment Criteria for this task was:
- Include a definition about each of the 4 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink)
- Suggest ways that the 4 R’s can be used at home and at school
- Insert and manipulate images by resizing and/or using artistic effects.
